Each with foliate-trailed, channelled cartouche-shaped padded back, scrolled channelled arms and compass-fronted seat covered in close-nailed associated Beauvais tapestry, woven in wools and silk, the backs woven with La Fontaine's fables depicting the stork and the fox, the seats woven with a stag drinking and a boar and a donkey, above a foliate-trailed waved seat-rail and on channelled cabriole legs and scroll feet, restorations, re-gilt, later blocks, each stamped F * GENY, variations in carving (2)
