Bouttats (2 torn and repaired), 3 folding engraved maps mounted on linen (one cropped at foot with loss to illustration, vol.I & III dampstained, some leaves slightly soiled and spotted), 18th-century green morocco gilt, covers with floral sprays within geometric borders of hooped small tools, spines gilt with small tools in compartments (inner joints repaired, slightly rubbed), edges gauffered and gilt, brass clasps, armorial bookplate of Charles Ashburnham inscribed 'Mexico 1837'
