Trumpeter Peter Buncle served in Captain Poole's Troop at the Battle of Waterloo (Dalton's Waterloo Roll Call refers). Poole, who was wounded in the famous charge of the Scots Greys, quitted the Service as a result of 'mental derangement' in February 1817.
