A GEORGE III TWO TIER WORK BOX ON STAND
made in a number of specimen woods including mahogany, satinwood, sycamore and yew, dot-banded with husks and with foliate garlands, decorated with chequer-banded ovals and roundels with Classical figures and heartwood panels, the tapered upper part with a hinged top with a panel of three ladies with a child and a crib, fitted with seven drawers below enclosed by a pair of panel doors, the stand with a drawer on square tapered legs joined by an undertier and terminating in brass caps
