An Italian ormolu mounted marble mantel clock, circa 1800
In the manner of Valadier, the drum case suspended within an architectural pediment of white and brocatello marble, with urn finials, on a dove grey marble raised plinth with further flambeau urns to the front angles, the white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes and pierced gilt hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, the backplate numbered 6 and initialed LH
18in. (45.7cm.) high, 13½in. (34.3cm.) wide, 8in. (20.3cm.) deep
