A FRENCH EMPIRE MAHOGANY AND ORMOLU MOUNTED SECRETAIRE, POSSIBLY SECOND HALF OF 19TH CENTURY
Surmounted by a grey marble top with a reeded edge, fitted with a frieze drawer applied with cornucopia and winged Classical figures, the fall enclosing a fitted architectural interior of breakfront outline, fitted with drawers above a central recess with pilasters and foliate winged ornament with tooled leather panel to the reverse of the fall and framed by vine leaves on projecting shaped suppports and concave plinth base with Neoclassical ornament
