A pair of French bronze groups, possibly late 18th or early 19th century
'Pluto carrying off Proserpine', after Francois Giradon (1628-1715); and 'Boreas carrying off Orithyia', after Gaspard Marsy (1624-1681) and Anselme Flamen (1647-1717), numbered 1362 and 1370, one signed to the underside BARBIER, on marmo giallo bases
