A Chinese export gilt lacquer games box, second quarter 19th century
The rectangular case fitted with five further boxes to the interior, decorated overall with entwined gilt foliage, the case and boxes all with oval coat-of-arms, the cases with a large quantity of mother-of-pearl counters, each further engraved with the same crest
The case -- 12in. (30.5cm.) wide
