The arms are those of Pennant impaled with Peyton and the crest is that of Pennant

Although little is known about the Parrish family and their glassmaking activities, the name appears frequently throughout the 19th century: James and Thomas Parrish, 'glass cutters', are recorded as bankrupts by 1803; Joseph Parrish, 'glass cutter' appears in the 1828 Directory and John Parrish & Co. in the 1828 and 1829 Directories, this company being declared bankrupt in 1889
