The arms are those of Barneby impaling Freeman for Bartholomew Richard Lutley Esq., who assumed the name and arms of Barneby by Act of Parliament in 1735 on inheriting the estates of his uncle John Barneby Esq. In 1756 he married Betty, daughter of John Freeman Esq. of Gaines (4)
