A PAIR OF DRESDEN SWEATMEAT DISHES modelled after Meissen originals as a man and a woman wearing flowered dress, each reclining beside a two-handled shaped-oval basket, on a scroll-moulded base (his right handle lacking), incised marks, one with blue crossed swords mark, 10in. (25.5cm.) wide; and a pair of figures of a vintner and companion holding basket of grapes, coloured predominantly in blue and white and on circular scroll-moulded mound bases (chips to bases and to leaves and grapes), imitation blue crossed swords and star marks, 9½in. and 10in.
