A late Victorian oak longcase clock, with raised rectangular panel to double-footed plinth, rectangular trunk door flanked by stop-chamfered angles, similar angles to the hood surmounted by three ball-and-spire finials, the circular engraved brass dial signed Waring & Gillou Ltd, London & Paris, with Roman and Arabic chapters, subsidiary seconds ring, pierced blued steel hands, the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on gong secured to back board
