Château Latour--Vintage 1964
Pauillac, 1er cru classé. Château-bottled
Labels very badly damaged and bin-soiled. Very good levels
Tasting note: Picking started Sept 25 and finished the day before the rains came. Consequently a vastly superior wine, the finest of the '64 Medocs. Still virtually opaque; lovely scent, spicy, violets, crisp yet ripe; sweet, fairly full-bodied, rich, velvety, well-laden with fruit, nicely balanced. MB 1990
