INDENTSecond Lieutenant Francis Deves 4th. Bn. was attached 2nd. Bn., killed in action France, 11 April 1917, during the Battle of Arras; he was buried in Brown's Copse Cemetery, Roeux

Private (1037) Stanley Phillip Holden, 'O' Coy. 1/5th. Bn. (London Rifle Brigade), was killed in action on the first day of the battle of the Somme, 1 July 1916, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial as he has no known grave. The 'London Rifle Brigade' formed part of the initial assault on a 900 yard front in the Gommecourt Park area - they lost 19 out of 23 Officers and 535 out of 803 other ranks

Lieutenant Edgar Leslie Hardy died of wounds, France, 7 October 1918, and is buried in Quarry Cemetery, Marquion
