Lot Essay

INDENTCaptain Henry Oswald Luck (1911-1942), was commissioned 1931 and was appointed Lieutenant 2nd. Punjab Regiment, March 1932; took part in the operations in Mohmand, North West Frontier 1933 and was employed in the same area, 1935. Captain Luck was 'killed in action' against the Japanese in the Trolak area of Malaya, 4 January 1942 whilst serving with the 5th Bn. of his regiment and was buried in Taiping War Cemetery
