A FINE PERSIAN SILVER AND GOLD INLAID BRASS BOWL (tas) with sharply rounded sides and slightly raised rim, the exterior inlaid in silver with panels of spiralling vine flanking gold key-pattern roundels alternating with roundels containing the signs of the zodiac, complex arcaded interlace below, bands of spiralling, meadering and plaited vine above, the interior with a central roundel depicting the sun surrounded by a variety of fish together with six ducks in radiating lobed surround, 14th century (some silver inlay missing, very slight denting)
