Michael Broadbent in his Great Vintage Wine Book II takes half a column extolling the virtues of this wine. Beautiful, burnished gold, heavenly waxy, lanolin-like Chenin Blanc nose with honeyed bottle-age; medium, neither sweet nor dry, medium weight, a glorious flavour and perfect acidity. Just a little short. Dry finish. Last tasted May 1991
