A PAIR OF DERBY NEO-CLASSICAL TURQUOISE-GROUND TWO-HANDLED BOTTLES, the heart-shaped bodies painted en grisaille with classical heads in profile on claret grounds within oval gilt band cartouches suspended by gilt tied ribbon, the shoulders with scroll handles flanking narrow claret-ground necks, supported by four gilt ram's masks terminating on shaped spreading claret-ground bases moulded with laurel wreaths and enriched in gilding (one vase with damage to foot and one handle with lower terminal lacking and upper terminal cracked), gold anchor marks, Wm. Duesbury & Co., circa 1775
