4° (270 x 210mm.), tinted lithographed frontispiece (lightly spotted), engraved map hand-coloured in outline and 20 finely hand-coloured aquatint plates by Roberts after Calvert. Original crimson cloth, upper cover lettered in gilt within oval floral wreath and outer double rule border, spine gilt, g.e. (neatly rebacked preserving original backstrip), contained in red buckram slipcase.
