The sitters were the children of the Infante Francisco de Paula (see lot 12)
The Infante Francisco de Asis (1822-1902) was declared King of Spain and the Indies by Royal Decree, 10 October 1846, married his first cousin Isabel II, Queen of Spain (1830-1904) and had issue. The Infanta Isabel (1821-1887) married Count Ignazy Gurowski (1812-1887) and had issue. The Infante Enrique (1823-1863), who was created The Infante of Spain, 1st Duke of Seville, but deprived of this title by Royal Decree in 1867, married Elena Maria de la Assompcion (1821-1863), daughter of Don Antonio de Padua de Castellvi y Fernandez de Cordova, 9th Count de Castella and de Villanueva and had issue. The Infanta Louisa (1824-1900) married Don José Maria Osorio de Moscoso y Carvajal, 14th Count de Altamira (1828-1881) and had issue. The Infante Edouardo Felipe (1826-1830) died in childhood
