A PAIR OF BÖTTGER CHINOISERIE TEABOWLS AND SAUCERS painted in the manner of Philipp Ernst Schindler with a single figure seated or standing, holding a vase of precious objects, a beekeeper, a man with a parasol and a lady looking into a mirror, each within an iron-red, gilt scroll and Böttger lustre panelled quatrefoil cartouche and a gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk border (some very slight flaking to enamel on reverse of teabowls), the reverses with concentric iron-red bands, gilder's numeral 4. to each piece, Dreher's to three pieces and X to one saucer, circa 1725 (2)
