A BÖTTGER CHINOISERIE SAUCER painted in the manner of Johann Gregor Höroldt with an Oriental standing beside a pedestal and a palm tree with boulders, grasses and birds to the right within an iron-red, purple and gilt scroll and Böttger lustre panelled cartouche, the border with gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk, the underside with concentric red bands (small chip to the underside of the saucer, very minor rubbing to the cartouche), gilder's numeral 17 and Dreher's /, circa 1725
