A KOREAN INLAID LACQUER PILLOW BOX, of rectangular shape, the square ends lifting to reveal two drawers and inlaid with iridescent mother-of-pearl inlay on a black lacquer ground with birds among bamboo and prunus on the sides, with a fu and a shou character at the ends, and a stylised shou character flanked by cranes on the top (some inlay losses), Choson Period, 18th/19th Century
