engraving, circa 1470-79, first state (of three), a fairly good impression of this rare print, watermark Small Bull's Head (similar to L. wmk. 32), trimmed on or just within the platemark, leaving a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline, two small pale brown stains, a few unobtrusive horizontal creases, some thin patches on the reverse partly split and skilfully repaired, some old glue-staining and discolouration also on the reverse
