chiaroscuro woodcut from three blocks, printed in black, olive-green and ochre-green, 1522, a very good Meder IIIa impression of this very rare print, watermark Circle with two Arcs (M.258), trimmed to or on the borderline on three sides, just within at the the top, a very small strip of missed printing to the left, a minor printers's crease at Varubülers right ear, traces of Dürer's monogram in pen and ink visible at the upper left corner, the tip of the lower right corner made up, a few creases noticeable at the reverse lower left corner, one of them split, some staining and discolouration on the reverse, otherwise generally in good condition
