Rossetti's first work written at the age of 12 and completed 2 years later to be published by his Grand-father's press in Regents Park. Drawing inspiration from Sir Walter Scott's work, this is one of Rossetti's rarest works; many copies were destroyed by Rossetti himself in later life. Ashley IV p.108.
