Early 16th-century French light brown calf gilt, covers with the arms of Denis Feydeau, Seigneur de Brou (Olivier 160.fer 1), spine in seven compartments with raised bands, lettered in two, two with monogram (Olivier 160.fer 3), two with small coat-of-arms (Olivier 160.fer 2) (neatly rebacked, old spine laid down, some scuffing to covers). Provenance: Feydeau (binding); Delagoutte (inscription); Lallement de Betz (bookplate); Anne and Isabella Scott (inscription). Adams F-1068. - MONSTRELET, Enguerrand de (1390?-1453). Chroniques. First title in red and black, woodcut printer's device on titles (first title repaired at inner margin, some staining to first and last few leaves, occasional marginal worming).
