Lot Essay

An aquamanile of very similar form is in the Gewerbemuseum, Hildesheim, which was found in 1890 in Almstrasse, Hildesheim (Falke & Meyer, op.cit.).
This lot is sold with a Metal Analysis Report from Oxford.
