September 28th: 1831./These drawings were picked/up on our tour from London,/which we left on the 19th:/September, 1831, and passed thro./Oxford, Cheltenham, Ross, Monmouth,/Chepstow, Clifton, Bristol, and Bath./William.Aubery. De Vere, Duke of St: Albans/Scripsit.', many signed and dated variously 1830-1874, a few inscribed; pencil or pen and ink many with watercolour, approximately 258 drawings and watercolours laid on the pages of the albums
