A LARGE TURKISH DAGGER with broad fullered tapering double-edged blade decorated on both sides at the forte with gold-damascened stylised cyprus trees, cursive script and foliage, and waisted hilt entirely covered in silver sheet with lightly engraved borders, in original wooden scabbard en suite (finial replaced), the locket pierced with bands of foliage in relief, 19th Century
