A PAIR OF WHEEL-LOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS with octagonal barrels decorated with later engraving on the breeches and tangs, and the inscription 'Voto A Dios, Anno 1634', plain rounded locks each retained by three screws and with iron wheel-covers punched and incised with scrolls and berries on a punched ground, artificially figured fruitwood full stocks (fore-ends repaired) carved with an expanded flowerhead opposite the locks, iron trigger-guards with punched decoration retaining faint traces of gilding, later brass pommels, brass ramrod-pipes, brass-tipped ramrods, and brass fore-end caps (one replaced), circa 1640-50
