Shaped plywood flat seat and back attached to adjustable tubular frame with simple chromed metal loops

Lot Essay

This chair was shown by Metz & Co. at the UAM exhibition, Pavillon de Marsan, Paris, in 1930. Kper and van Zijl (op. cit.) suggest that only prototypes of this model were ever made by Metz & Co.
