A partially disbound Album containing watercolours and pencil drawings of Reading and its' surrounds including: The Castle and Abbey Ruins; The Old School House; An Old Cottage near Reading; In the Oracle; Spinning Wheel in the Oracle; Old Washouse in the House at Broad Street; Bridge on the way to Cavesham; Cavesham Mill; Maple Durham Mill, Horse Ferry Boat at Wargrave; Cattle Bridge in the Kennel Meadows; Mr Sherwood's Farm at Novecote; The Glen; Old Burnham Beeches; In the Meadows, Hungerford; Boat House on the Thames; Mr Sherwood's Stable; At Old Basing; Kenilworth and others

The majority inscribed on the pages of the album, some signed with monogram or in full, one dated, 1836; the majority pencil and watercolour, some heightened with white and scratching out; 50 watercolours and drawings, the majority tipped between the pages of the album 10¼ x 17in. (260 x 432mm.); and smaller, the album 16½ x 12in. (419 x 305mm.) overall; a watercolour of Fulmer Church by another hand, and a watercolour of Chalfont St Peter by Harry Hines
