The heraldic backs moulded and richly painted with a lion and dragon rampant against an 'Imari' ground, triple gilt metal sconces in the form of budding branches
Each approximately 15½in. (39.4cm.) high
One marked on the reverse EG with cross of Lorraine, numbered 1839, signature Emile Gallé à Nancy; the other marked EG, deposé and Emile Gallé Nancy (2)
