The rectangular seat with squab-cushion covered in a beige chintz with an armorial device centred by a shield inscribed 'NON MAGNI PONDIS QUIA CONTIGIT' and flanked by the Roman numeral 'XII', each panelled side to the back with a pine-cone finial and to the front with a Grecian herm of a female head and on a pair of carved human feet on rectagular blocks, the front posts originally with a curved angle-bracket
