The moulded and waved rectangular africano marble top above two short and two long drawers, the long drawers both simulated as two drawers each, the angles headed by a pierced C-scrolled and foliate mount above a cabochon flanked by two dragons and the slightly out-swept C-scrolled and foliate sabots, partially remounted, including two handles and one escutcheon, nine mounts struck with the C couronné poinçon, restorations to feet, the marble top possibly later

The C couronné poinçon was a tax mark employed on any alloy containing copper between March 1745 and February 1749.
