Inlaid overall with trellis parquetry, the rectangular top above a shaped slanting fall-front with black leather-lined writing-surface and enclosing a fitted interior with seven variously-sized drawers and a pigeon-hole above a sliding well, the lower section with two frieze-drawers flanking a simulated drawer above a further drawer flanked by a door to either side, the waved kneehole on cabriole legs terminating in pierced C-scroll sabots, restorations
