Provenance
Purchased, prior to 1806, for 15gns., by Samuel Day of Hinton Charterhouse; included in his will of June 1806, and by descent to his son, Samuel Skurray Day; thence by descent to Thomas Jones, listed in the inventory of August 1848 following his death, and by descent to his great-great grandson, the present owner.
