U5 from the Government Radio Operator at Mempakul to New York bearing, on reverse, 1900 4c. black and carmine pair in combination with North Borneo 1901 2c., both tied by rare "MEMPAKUL" (Proud Type D3- earliest recorded date) and showing another strike on face with Labuan c.d.s. alongside; the U5 with front and back severed and partly rejoined, and with some light overall discoloration.
