AN UNUSUAL GERMAN BREECH-LOADING SALOON PISTOL with short signed octagonal sighted rifled barrel, blued action housing the sprung detonating block, pierced on top for the bullet and charge respectively, and along each side for the cocking arms, loading tap on the right (slight damage), and figured walnut half-stock, swelling butt housing the loading tool, blued steel spur trigger-guard, and some original finish, by J. Madlener A Bergenz; and a German percussion pistol with tip-up octagonal sighted barrel signed in full in silver (incomplete) and inlaid with silver stars at the muzzle and breech, ebony grip and action-scales in one (cracked and incomplete), the former chequered, and iron trigger-guard (action defective), by Pfeuffer A Stuttgart, both mid-19th Century
