A Spode pearlware part dessert-service
Circa 1825, impressed upper-case factory marks, various impressed numerals and pattern number 2860 in iron-red script
Painted in a version of the Imari palette with a pattern of iron-red scrolling flowers and foliage enriched in fuschia pink, bright green and gilding, comprising:
A twin-handled shaped oval footed bowl
Two shaped oval sauce-tureens, covers and stands, and one ladle
Two shaped oval shallow dishes
Four shell-shaped dishes
Twelve plates
(some pieces with slight wear and chips)
