The centre painted with Calabrians buying and selling goods at a market near a statue of St. Bruno and a church before a distant mountainous landscape, inscribed below in black La Fiera di San Bruno - in Calabria ultra within a rectangular cartouche, the gilt border with a continuous band of interlocking ciselé ovolo and diamond ornament (very slight rubbing to gilding of the rim in places)
