A GEORGE III GILTWOOD ARMCHAIR in the manner of John Linnell, the oval padded back, arm-rests and seat covered in floral-patterned silk on blue-grey ground, the frame carved with entrelac, supported by foliate enriched and spirally-carved stiles, the laurel-carved arms headed by a laurel leaf and floral rosette above a channelled guilloche support, the entrelac bowed seat flanked to either side by spiralling floral patera, on turned tapering fluted legs and turned feet, later blocks, restorations, regilt (2)
