A Meissen yellow-ground beaker
Circa 1740, blue crossed swords mark, gilder's 4. and Pressnummer 68
Painted in the manner of J.G. Höroldt with an Oriental lady holding a parasol with an attendant, the reverse with Orientals preparing tea, on fenced terraces before exotic trees and flowering shrubs within black-lined gilt quatrefoil cartouches, the interior with gilt line and scroll border (minute flaking to the gilding of the top rim and one cartouche)
