Unmarked, early 19th century
On spreading hexafoil foot with guilloche border, the rim mount with reeded border and engraved with Latin inscription
4 5/8in. (11.5cm.) high
The inscription reads 'NUNQUAM DIXISSE ME ALIQUANTQ PENI TUIT TACUISSE' which in translation reads'I never said how much pain it cost me to keep silent'.
