one 9in. (23cm.) high, the other 8½in. (21.5cm.) high

The same maker's mark was found on a pair of Charles II silver-gilt mounted Chinese porcelain bowls sold from the collection of The Most Hon. The Marquess of Exeter, Burghley House, Lincolnshire, sold Christie's 17th July 1959, Lot 101. (2)
