Lot Essay

INDENTSecond Lieutenant Wilfred Garland, educated at Lancing, and Keable College Oxford, was gazetted 2nd Lieutenant 7th Bn. 24 November 1914, served with them in France and in the autumn of 1915 accompanied them to Salonika. He was killed in action, Salonika 8 May 1917 'bombing back' an enemy counter-attack.
