INDENTLieutenant Colonel William Albert Morris, Royal Army Medical Corps, was appointed Surgeon, afterwards Surgeon Captain, from 1882 and served with the Burma Expeditionary Force 1886-7 and 1889 (Mentioned in Despatches, London Gazette 2.8.1887); Surgeon Major 1894 and Major R.A.M.C. the same year; served with the Tirah Expeditionary Force as Secretary to the Principle Medical Officer, October 1897-April 1898 (Mentioned in Despatches London Gazette 5.4.1898); Lieutenant Colonel 1902; retired 1912 and was temporarily re-employed during the Great War.
