The action-body, lockplates and furniture engraved with best bold foliate-scrollwork on a matt ground, the rolled-edge triggerguard relief-engraved with a baronial crest, the triggerplate signed 'Graveur L. Smeets', bright cyanide-hardened finish overall, manual safe, quadruple-grip action-body, articulated front trigger, well-figured stock, three-piece forend, the barrels with matt top-rib and wooden side-fillets
