AN ENGRAVED FACET-STEMMED WINE-GLASS, the waisted ogee bowl engraved and polished with fruiting-vine and a bird in flight above foliate and flute ornament, the hexagonally fluted stem with notched angles and the swelling waist knop cut with stars, the faceted foot with a star motif and with waved rim (slight chips to footrim), 15.5cm. high; and an ale-glass, the slender funnel bowl with facet-cut lower part, the stem cut with hexagonal facets and on a conical foot, 17cm. high, circa 1780 (2)
